King Solomon was the son of David and Bathsheba. His story can be found in the Bible, in 1 Kings 1-11 and 2 Chronicles 1-9. He is credited with building the great Temple in Jerusalem and for writing three books of the Bible - Proverbs, Song of Solomon, and Ecclesiastes.
